870 Vampire Squadron - Brockville

What is the "Air Cadets"?

The Royal Canadian Air Cadets is a national organization for Canadian youth between the ages of 12 and 19. This is a result of a partnership between the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces and the Air Cadet League of Canada.

To become members of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, interested youth must join a local Squadron. There are over 440 Air Cadet Squadrons across Canada.

The local Squadron meets for regular training weekly through the school year. Optional training, including sports, marksmanship and other activities are available as well.

In July and August many Summer Training Activities are available to cadets. These provide valuable training at no cost.

What is 870 Squadron?

870 Vampire Squadron parades from 6:00pm - 8:30pm on Monday evenings from September until June. Meet at the Brockville Armoury, 144 King St. East in Brockville, Ontario, Canada.

870 Vampire wants to encourage involvement of our community's youth and provide them with a free, safe, and enjoyable program by challenging their bodies and stimulating their minds. Our Squadron strives to be known for its diversity, being a safe space for all youth, and investing in our future leaders. We want to achieve this by increasing knowledge of diversity, both in our community and nationwide, and demonstrating how skills taught in cadets are relevant in future daily personal/work life.
